Project profile

The main objective of the project TRANSCEN (Regional Centre of Education in Knowledge and Technology Transfer), whose partners are Technical University of Liberec (co-ordinator), Elmarco Ltd. and Research Institute of Textile Machines Liberec Co., is to improve qualification of workers in science and research of Liberec region so that competitiveness and growth of the employment rate within the Region would be supported.

The project supports following target groups:

•   regional institutions of research and development staff
•   academic members of universities and
•   university students.

The project goals will be realized by creation and realisation of seven-modules inter-professional programme of further training in the sphere of knowledge and technology transfer, whose guarantee, after the project´s ending, will be the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Liberec.

The project started its operational work on 15th June 2006 with the termination till 14th June 2008.

The project of Regional Centre of Education in Knowledge and Technology Transfer is co-financed by the European Social Fund and the state budget of the Czech Republic.

take place during November 2006 - November 2007 and participation for target groups is free of charge.
